Author black tied

caught in a Red silhouette

Trampled by believers

signing his name on their sleeves

Running into the margins

headers and footers

cut loose

"Lead me into battle,"

he cried,

"Before I lose my teeth."

The snow fell in February

all the life

covered deep underneath
